Can a (possibly damaged) SD card's data be salvaged without formatting?

This external card drive scratched my SD card and now nothing will read it, every device tells me to reformat the card

The first time it only opened one folder
The second time I got a bunch of gibberish over my folders
The last time it said to reformat the card

If I reformat it, I'll lose my pictures and Wii data, won't I? Is there any way to salvage what's on the card without reformatting? Even if I reformat it the card it might not work right ever again. I don't care about the card, but some it contains some valuable data and pictures which are not backed up.

What can I do?

Hi There,

You can try another port or another computer to read the card but I am afraid all you data is lost.

Sorry,

First attempt cleansing the gold contacts on the cardboard which you spot once you turn it the different way up. Use alcohol and a swab. subsequent, you won't be able to reformat the cardboard if the computing gadget fails to correctly known it. Are you confident it is not being known, or that it would not instruct any records once you flick in the time of the cardboard? If the cardboard would not look in any respect, your final risk is to objective a digicam/photograph keep like Dodd digicam. they could be waiting to accomplish records restoration.
