Question:
Nvidia 9500GT Compatibility[Urgent]?
2009-10-27 00:47:39 UTC
Good Day!

I would just like to ask if my system can be compatible on this kind of Graphic Card(Nvidia 9500GT 1GB)

These are Graphic Card System requirements as I searched:

> 512MB of system memory
> CD or DVD-ROM drive
> 100MB of available hard disk drive space for basic driver installation
> Microsoft® Windows Vista™ or XP operating system
> PCI Express® or PCI Express® 2.0-compliant system motherboard with one vacant PCI Express® x16 slot
> 350W PCI Express®-compliant system power supply with a combined 12V current rating of 18A or more (Minimum system power requirement based on a PC configured with an Intel Core®2 Duo processor)
> NOTE: For the power requirements of multiple GeForce® 9500 GT-based graphics cards in an NVIDIA SLI® configuration

And Here is my CPU Specifications:

ECS 671T-M
Intel Core 2 Duo
Chipset: Sis 671(NB) Sis 968(SB)
DDR2 667 1GB
80GB Hard Disk
Read & Write DVD ROM
500w Power Supply

And as I seen on my Manual

*Guide on Installing Add-On Cards*

*PCI Express slot is used to install an External PCI Express graphic Card that is fully compliant to the PCI Express Base Specification revision 1.1

What does it mean? u think that Graphic Card can run onto my System?..

Thanks for the future Answers please Really need this info!

yes this will fit in your pci x 16 slot

just like the one that's in mine

and with the updates from nvidia will work nicely with windows 7,,,giving a performance rate of 4.4

With the prices of a 4850 being under $100 nowadays, there's simply no reason to buy such a terrible card as the 9500GT.

It means you require a PCI Express port on your motherboard. It will not work in any other port.
