I was supose to have 512 ram, and then i had 504 ram and now i only have 502 ram..
How can i increase ram?

It depends upon how much load you give to your computer.
512mb of ram is not enough these days.So atleast put 1gb or 2gb of ram to make your computer fast.
When you install ram it wont give the exact mb.If you have a 500 gb hard disk.It wont give you 500gb of space.It gives only 465gb.Like that if you have 512mb it gives you only 502 or 504 mb.

i can only think of 2 ways.the first way is to uninstall programs from your computer.because all software eat up your ram through background processes.second way is buy some memory sticks.follow these steps.
1)Download CPU-Z from here - http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/cpu-z/versions-history.html or Speccy - http://www.piriform.com/speccy
2)check the type of RAM u r using right now.
3)go to a computer shop and buy the same type of RAM.different frequency (like DDR2 800MHz) is totally fine.if not just visit any online retail shop and get the best deal u think u can get.

It sounds like your video card could be using the ram. I would install more ram. The best site is http://www.crucial.com/?click=true the website will check you computer for the Ram you need and tell you what to upgrade to, and Crucial are the cheapest.

check whether another memory slot is available to insert 512 MB RAM, If it is not so just remove the existing and insert the 1GB RAM ( before inserting (installation) switch off the computer/laptop

You're gonna have to buy more ram and that's like $180 dollars for 100000 rams.
The only other way is to delete your system32 folder.. that'll increase it by about 245 rams.
The problem could be with your megabits though. You can usually go to a computer store and buy megabits and rams singley. Usually about $2 per ram or megabit

to increase, you buy new RAM sticks and put them in your RAM slots on the motherboard.
