Hello.
I've been looking at gaming keyboards recently. And I basically need a keyboard that supports macros. Where I can press multiple keys at the same time for one key. This way it will help me improve my gaming experience, so I don't have to hold on these keys at the same time for the same functions.

I've been looking at a few keyboards. Microsoft Reclusa, Razer Arctosa and Saitek Cyborg gaming keyboards.
I heard that the Microsoft Reclusa is limited to 8 keystrokes macro only. That's why im not all that keen for that keyboard. However the pricetag of that keyboard is quite attractive.

I am confused which gaming keyboard to buy out of these 3? I've never tried a gaming keyboard before. At the moment I am using a Microsoft Digital Media Keyboard 3000.

Although I have been quite interested in a gaming keyboard for some time now. I could never know exactly which one to buy.
I am looking at a max price of £35. No higher than that really.

Which gaming keyboard would you recommend for the max price of £35 that has all these macro functions, etc?

Thanks!

hi rahul

gaming keyboards are a bit of a lost cause... i mean gaming keyboards dont have any specific functions most of the time... they simply have better cosmetics and sometimes some posh lighting systems to make it look even cooler

the aim of a good gaming keyboard is to have well placed keys allowing you to play your games much easier... however some budget keyboards for less than £10 fall into this catergory.. and my current keyboard namely the "MICROSOFT BASIC INTERNET KEYBOARD PS/2" works well with my current games and has well spaced keys which are comfortable to use

however one particular make namely "razer" better known for their gaming mice have a keyboard called the "RAZER ARCTOSA KEYBOARD"( http://www.microdirect.co.uk/Home/Product/39364/Razer-Arctosa-Keyboard )... this is a ideal keyboard for you and has programmable macro keys and 10 customizable software profiles with on-the-fly switching

however one of the best keyboard manufactuers have to be logitech and the G15 is one of their best gaming keyboards... however at £90 its well out of your budget... but the "LOGITECH COMFORT WAVE 450 KEYBOARD"( http://www.microdirect.co.uk/Home/Product/44474/Logitech-Comfort-Wave-450-Keyboard-USB-Black ) is well worth considering... its not a actual gaming keyboard but fits the bill in every area

i hope this helps, any problems let me know

good luck rahul

£35 isn't much for a gaming keyboard. I suggest you save up a few more quid and go with something nicer. The great part about a keyboard is that you may end up using it for years. It may outlast several computers. So it's something worth investing in.

I picked up a Logitech G15 a couple years back. It's a great keyboard. Though it runs about £70. It comes with an LCD display, which works with lots of modern games. One big selling point is that the LCD supports Ventrillo. So if you use Vent, then you can "see" who is speaking on the keyboard's display while in a game. That's almost worth the £70 right there (at least it was for me).

Anyway, if you get a low-end gaming keyboard, expect it to be just that. Low end. It's probably going to have problems that bother you (like a limited number of keystrokes on macros). In which case, is it really worth spending the money?

EDIT: you do not might desire to have the understanding to do it. i'm an adolescent and that i equipped a thoroughly new laptop, from scratch. i did not ask every physique the thank you to do it. i did not see photos or tutorials or movies from YouTube (various of those). I did via myself. And no, i'm not a genius. do not pay attention to Jay. He has no theory what he's talking approximately. The i5-2500k will supply you a similar overall performance for Battlefield 3 as will the i7. to boot, you could overclock it to 4500 MHZ or perhaps 5 GHz or extra. have confidence me, this is an magnificent CPU which delivers the biggest bang on your dollar, and saves money. particular, decide for 8 GB RAM. sixteen GB RAM should not be used till the 12 months 2050, so which you would be dropping money. And as for the video card, i might say get a GTX 580 somewhat than GTX 570. it quite is an exceedingly valuable GPU, a pal has it and it performs with out lag in any appreciate, on optimum settings, at 1080p. No concern. additionally, i choose to advise you which you build your guy or woman, the junk they sell will supply you undesirable stuff, like the i7, sixteen GB RAM, or 2 TB HDD (heavily... it quite is a pair of million,500 video clips, or one hundred fifty video games... you actual need that lots?). construction delivers various of exciting, and good-of-the line structures are actual extra inexpensive than paying for it.
