Which is the best graphic card to buy between these two ?

Hi friends, I want to buy a graphic card . I have chosen these two.
HIS Radeon HD6770 Fan 1GB GDDR5 ATI PCI
E Graphic Card and Palit GeForce GTX550 Ti 1024MB GDDR5
NVidia PCI E Graphic Card.
Suggest me which one to buy.
My pc is i5 2500K , 500w, 500gb hdd, 4gb ram , dh67bl .

Yes GTX 550 ti is far better,I have the same graphics card.I am getting like 40-50fps at 1360x760 resolution and at ultra settings there is no lag whatsoever in the areas where there are a lot of graphic actions so all in all a great card. The power supply is adequate and coincidentally your setup is same as mine except for the motherboard.Radeon 6770 is not bad.Still NVIDIA is better due to Physx and CUDA .Wiht the latest driver 290.53 the card is performing well .

IMO, the price gap of $20 is NOT worth a 5% increase in the performance. I would personally go for an HD 6770 and overclock it. It'll be able to outperform the 550 Ti.

The GTX 550ti is slightly better. Nothing that will blow you away.



If you want to get a card that really is better then get a Radeon 6850 or GTX 460

correct you gotta see first if ur slot is PCI-E or PCI. PCI-E is faster and is for more suitable reducing-area video playing playing cards. in case you attempt putting a PCI-E video card in a PCI slot, it wont paintings (yet PCI playing playing cards paintings on PCI-E). so ensure first. if ur pc interior of reason new, it would want to have PCI-E. older than some years perchance 2-3 then its reducing close. for psu wattage, ensure below specs or google the cardboard for its specs
