hi I want to buy a raspberry pi model b and a usb powered hub but I want to make sure the raspberry pi gets sufficient power and I am worried if I get a power supply and a usb powered hub that I will overpower the raspberry pi.

can any one recommend a good power supply and usb powered hub that would power my raspberry pi and other devices like keyboard and mouse.

any help much appreciated

thanks in advance

A nice way to do both is to get one of these...

You're worrying too much. Any USB power supply will be fine for the pi. If you are using just a mouse and keyboard you don't need a powered USB hub. Plug the devices directly into the pi.

The Pi does need a decent power supply, nice stable voltage at at least 1 amp, preferably 1.2 amps. The hub is helps by offloading fro the Pi any need to power the other devices.
