USB Flash Drive is write protected - How do I remove it?

While transferring files from my PC to my USB Flash Drive. I received an error message - The Disk can not be written because it is write protected. Please remove the write protection from the volume in drive \Device|Harddisk1\DR5.
How do I do this?

Try to find a small switch in your flash drive most USB flash drive has a switch for write protection.

Who is the manufacturer of the USB. You can search their support site. They should know how to fix it since it is their Flash Drive.
