Connect the memory stick to the USB port on your computer and then it will automatically detect it. Open the folder and copy the pictures inside the drive. You can also manually goto My computer and open the drive and copy files in it.

Then open my computer, you will see an Icon for your memory key > right click on that and select Eject.

Its really very simple.

A USB memory stick is seen by Windows as a disk drive, the same as any other storage device. Plug the stick into a free USB slot, and Windows (XP or Vista) should detect it and offer options for what to do with it.

Select "open window to view files and folders" and you will get a window that represents the drive.

Copy your pics over, either using cut and paste or drag and drop, and you're done.

Before removing the device, first select the safely remove option from the task bar (the icon will be near the clock).

Ok, so step by step, here it goes:

Insert the pen drive into a USB port. Now, go to My Computer in Start, or if you are using Windows Vista, it is just Computer. There, you will find your USB drive. Double-click it. There will be a blank white folder. So, it means that you don't have anything on it. Typically, this window shows the root folder on the drive, so you can see all what is present on it. Now, drag and drop all the pictures. You can try Ctrl+click on all the pictures and then drag them together. By dragging, they will be copied on. To actually transfer and have nothing of those on your PC, right click the pictures, and choose cut, or just press Ctrl+X. Now, in the USB drive folder, press Ctrl+V or right-click and hit paste. You're done.

This is a really basic thing, and you need to know it. You can do this in case of any hard disks, any computers and any folders.

u have to find the usb drive(external) which basically look like the front of the usb memory stick (flash drive).

when you have found the drive on your computer, plug the usb in.

usually with latest computer and flash drives (USB), they dont need to be installed or anything. so make sure that u have an updated computer if the usb doesnt come with a cd or installation set.

next there would be auto-play pop up menu after u have inserted ur flash drive. or u can go to mycomputer and double click on the removable disk (ur usb). than u can drag or copy in files that u want in to the usb.

also u can rename ur usb by right clicking on the usb icon (in mycomputer).so that it's easier to recognize when u insert it in next time......

ther u go~ ur ready to use ur 2gb cruzer !!!

Once you plug it into a USB port, you will find it with Explorer as an Additional drive - usually one letter more than what you have on the computer. Then you just use it as you would any other drive. Don't forget to release it properly by activating the "safely remove hardware" icon down there on the bottom right by the time.

Ok, well usually USB sticks look like a rectangle shape so you shouldnt have trouble finding it on ur computer, It should be either on the front of your computer and some on the back. If your front USB slots dont work then stick it in the back.

ok put the memory stick in computer.

it will auto install

go to my computer and on devices with removable storage look for the letter of your memory stick wich in this case is cruzer.

if it's removable disc f: remember that

on your hard drive open the picture you want

right click on it choose send to cruzer. done its that simple.

you can do the same thing for mp3 music. note: music in wave files take alot of space on your memory stick so try to save in mp3

your welcome in advance.
