Nobody will ever use more than a Gig of ram. Unless they are running say a MySQL database on the pc. The graphic card is pretty important for games. The newre Nvidia ones are good and the ATI all-in-wonder cards are too! Check out Mushkin or Corsair memory if you are into gaming!

Depend of your use of your PC is different. If you want to play graphic games the graphic card is better, if not I prefer good memory.

Video Cards somewhat different from Memory...Faster Video Cards makes your graphics run faster...but if it runs on a higher memory then you cannot compromise the speed of the program coz memory stores loaded programs, the more program you are opening, the more memory you will be requiring.

graphics card - mainly because more memory is useful for running simultaneous apps and is always upgradable - graphics in laptops can not be upgraded easily, so you are stuck with what you purchase. Opt for the better graphics.

buy more memory latter if you need it.
