My office laptop USB is disable only USB mouse working.. but ipod and pen drive not working please help?

my office laptop - DELL D 530 - Office admin has disables USB port only USB mouse is working but no other USB devise is working please help ...

Go to mycomputer. Right click and select properties. Under hardware performance select the list of hardware devices. When you click on the hardware devices it shows a tree structure which would show all the devices on the laptop. Even the USB ports are shown there. Select an usb port and on the toolbar, you can select the enable button. This way you can enable as many ports as you want.

I want to caution that many of the viruses enter the systems only through the USB port devices like pen drives, etc., so make sure that you have an up to date anti-virus on your system to protect it from virus attacks. Check out more at the link below:

Vikram... your question is having answer in it... if office admin has stopped it then ask them to enable it... you can not do anything because you may not be having admin rights to implement anything or install anything on your laptop.
