Question:
Help ASAP!!! I have a flash drive prob!?
2013-07-02 12:19:41 UTC
I have a flash drive that has all 27 of my manuscripts (most are rough drafts) saved on it and it's unrecognized in my computer (it's an Acer) I got a notice that the usb was malfunctioning, so I rebooted the computer.
Well, it's a crappy computer, and it wouldn't shut down, so I ripped the battery out, then cut it back on. It still wouldn't accept the flash drive.
So, I tried it in three other computers(Dells) and a tablet (Asus), but it was unrecognized in those places as well. I really need help with this!!! If I lose my stories, I'll snap.

Hmmm, sounds like your files are corrupted :( They are very hard to get back when they are corrupted. This can happen due to not safely removing your USB stick.

You could've been not taking care of your USB properly. Before removing it from the computer make sure you 'remove safely' then slowly take it out of your computer as it may corrupt your files.

have you tried copying your files on on boot? maybe it helps??

try using paragon manager pro

if you can't open your flashdrive on normal basis, maybe by booting with paragon helps? and if it did sees your flashdrive go ahead ant copy your files there.

MAKE SURE YOU COPIED YOUR FILES before FORMATING YOUR FLASHDRIVE!!!

actually i havent tried it on flashdrives but maybe it helps right?

just dont format it yet.. there's still help :)
