When you unplug or plugin noise is created. It is not due to any sound received by the MIC. I guess you need a proper driver for your microphone. Or may be you need a pre-amplifier.

My gxl 2200 condenser mike is not working for my mix craft 6
"The usual procedure when a mic is not working - check that the phantom power (+48V) is working, then try another cable.
If the mic is out of warranty and you're low on bucks, you might have to fix it. Unscrew the base, carefully holding the body sleeve up against the screen. Then carefully slide off the body to expose the PC boards. Check the boards and wires for cracked copper film and bad solder joints. Two tiny Philips screws will allow you to remove the REAR board for full inspection of both. If all is good physically, start checking components with a multimeter. (if you don't know how, StartPage it.) The circuit is similar to the one below, EXCEPT there is a low cut switch on the CAD 2200. If you find a bad component, most of them are pretty cheap to replace."
