Help Saving Files to USB Stick?

I have downloaded several games on my computer (they're rar files), which I had to extract to my desktop/program files and play. But, I'm running out of space on my laptop and this laptop's also pretty old and it might even break down in the future.. lol. So I was wondering, is it possible to save all my rar files to a USB stick? Then, when I get a new laptop, I can plug in the USB and extract the rar files on the new laptop? Would all my data and progress still be there though?

If not, am I able to copy the extracted game folder(s) to the USB stick and be able to play them again (with my progress still intact) on the new laptop?

OR should I put both the rar files and extracted folders in the USB and all the progress will stil be saved?

Hope that makes sense, and thank you :)

To use those games on your new laptop, you can do anything either copy .Rar files to USB and back to your new laptop or copy those games files to USB and then to your new laptop. But you will have to start over. Because the files which track your progress in your game are saved somewhere in your My Documents or your Temporary folders. It is difficult to trace them.

h it would be best to copy the rar files as this will save you storage place, altough it is possible for you to just save the extracted folde! Just right click on either the rar or the folder and send it to your flash drive!
