First what kind of graphics card. Is it AGP. PCIEXPRESS or Just PCI. You need to put it in your motherboard. Then you install the driver disc. Its pretty much just that. No more work to that.

See first u no that for every add on card mother board below the card there will be cutting and size of the card also there and check which bus is compatible .Steps to follow

1.switch off the pc

2.select which slot is compatible

3.Power on the cpu automatically mother board detects for any hardware changes.

4. after booting in to windows it iwill give a add new hardware wizard windows and select the path of the drivers of ur card and alot that it iwill work fine without any damage.

If u are getting not read means drivers not installed properly go through that if ur getting any memory referenced just copy that memory and goto start---run ----regedit.exe=---- and press f3 to search particlulary string and remove that .U will able to work fine....

Anyway first check and do the following procedure.it will workfine i hope so...

after shutting off the power, remove the power cable, remove video cable from old card, open the case of the PC up,touch the metal frame of the case(to ground yourself to the case, and to discharge any static electricity) locate the old video card( might be an on-board type)or the VGA slot( should be a brown one set father back from the edge of the motherboard)push the tap down, insert the new card into the slot, evenly until you hear a click(the tap should be up and "hooked" onto the card, plug in video cord to card, plug in power cord to PC. turn on PC. if you have any errors, shut down and make sure video card is fully seated , power on and try again.

One thing that they rushed past in the video. If you are replacing an onboard video chip with this card, go into the BIOS setup and disable the onboard video, then shut down the computer and install the new card.

continually turn off the laptop and unplug the potential twine in the previous commencing off up the casing. working with energetic electric powered factors can (will) do severe injury to the factors, and to your self :P as quickly as you have bodily put in the pix card, you will ought to proceed using the integrated pix until you install drivers and the AMD Catalyst administration center for the hot card the two from the secure motive force disc or from the producer's internet site. when you place in the drivers you will ought to reboot your laptop with the demonstrate screen plugged promptly into between the outputs on the pix card. in case you plug the demonstrate screen right into a port on the motherboard, your laptop will proceed to apply integrated pix.
