I just found out today that our 2nd computer (Windows 2000) key bored doesn't work so I was going to buy a new one will and USB key bored work on an old computer?

Yes, Windows 2000 supports USB, make sure you apply Service Pack 4 for better stability and security (not total as MS no longer supports it but its better than none)

you desire a product like norton ghost or another photograph backup utility. You backup your total disk photograph onto a USB key (if its sufficiently huge) or a USB rigidity. If there's a topic, you could restoration the full photograph back on your rigidity. i exploit this for my babies desktops while they hose the working device, I only restoration the full photograph back. of direction I back up records records one at a time so i don't lose records/records.

It should, as long as the computer in question has a USB port. You may have to go online to find drivers for it though.
