obviously If the card i integrated you can't remove it. But the integrated graphics take over the spot where i plug in my monitor? YES I do have a extra PCI spot and YES I also have the card currently with me.

I need to know how to add the card STEP BY STEP.
I also want to know HOW EXACTLY DOES ADDING IT AND STILL SEEING GRAPHIC IMPROVMENTS ON MY SCREEN WITH INTEGRATED COVERING UP THE MONITOR SPOT?

Yes, assuming your motherboard supports the card. When you install the card it will still use your integrated graphics UNTIL you INSTALL THE DRIVERS that should have come with the card, otherwise if it's an nvidia card they'd be on nvidia.com.

It depends on the system I suppose. I don't need to disable my onboard graphics when I install a new card. I simply uninstall the old drivers, turn off, take old card out, put new in, turn on, install drivers, restart. done.

Your monitor should have a cable..depending on the card VGA or DVI I believe. When you install the graphics card it replaces the silver slot on the back of your computer and has plugins there.

this should answer the rest...

First install drivers for new video card then:

1. Turn off computer

2. Unplug computer and remove side panel

3. Remove cover for PCI slot on back of computer (little screw inside)

4. Plug in video card

5. put srew back in

6. enter CMOS and change the video settings (take it off of the integrated setting)

7. restart computer.

How does it work? ummm, you turn off old integrated video card then video processes will go through new video card instead of integrated.

If you have a spot on your monitor it is probably the monitor not the video card.
