I was wondering whether to get a USB or Wireless keyboard and mouse for my laptop keyboard because my keyboard is all screwed up and missing a key.

I don't know which to get. USB's are cheaper but I don't really have a desk set up for an extra keyboard. There's wireless where I could hook up my laptop to my tv but I don't know which one to get. My laptop is an HP 6110us and the sensor would be on my desk which is like 2-3 feet away from where I would sit and wireless ones are really expensive and I heard you have to keep getting batteries for it.

Which should I get?

I would suggest wireless, they're much less of a hassle, and some don't need a 'sensor', just a USB plug in receiver, as big as a flash drive. I don't have a keyboard, but my wireless mouse from logitech works great, and has a year on batteries (haven't fully tested that). I find it easier to use, generally, than cluttering up your desk. There are some cheap wireless keboards too,

Don't go for wireless.... it gives only one advantage... move-ability to a certain distance only, beyond that you won't be able to see what you are typing.... batteries is one thing..... the range is also one thing to consider apart from the price as you have to keep receiver somewhere to connect it ...

Wired ones are cheaper and you can take mouse anywhere you like.

and keyboard cable is about 2-3 ft so that should not be a problem apart from cheaper and life is reasonable good. No batteries involved.

wireless keyboard and mouse ,, a little expensive,,so you can buy a usb keyboard,,but there must be 3 or 4 USB hubs to expand these devices..You can get a 4 Port USB Expresscard Adapter to increase your usb hubs.I recommend a cheap and full-compatible expresscard usb 4 ports adapter on:http://www.espow.com/wholesale-4-port-usb-2-0-480mb-expresscard-34-express-card-adapter.html
