550 are ok cards, I have a 550 aswell and it works for what I want it to work for. You get what you pay for. I can run WoW and Rift on high or ultra with shadows off and bounce at around 45 fps. I paid $100 Cad for my Gigabyte 550 DDR3, DDR5 is the new hotness so you can't go wrong with the price. I stuck to DDR3 simply because no games like WoW or Rift require DDR5 to play or are that demanding.

Nvidia GTX550Ti 1GB is actually a good graphics card. I can play all of my favourite games at the highest graphical settings, gaining about 60 - 90 FPS. Very rarely do I see it drop below 50.

i dont ever heard of wow, i dont know what that is, but your grapgics card will work with most demanding games so no worry bud i have a Geforce 5500Fx and i play games from 2006 and they go full speed with pixel shader 2.0 so no worries your gpu listed will function with pixel shader 3.0!! faster rendering capabilities and faster computations so you can render hd content without lag so you will have the best fun with that card.

It is a good card very high end but if you don't have a motherboard that dosen't support the card then its useless F.Y.I it is a DDR5 graphics card so it needs a good motherboard too.
