It's a Radeon 7000 64mb graphics card. The cdrom with drivers says the driver is not compatible with the card! I need to download it from somewhere, but where?

Get it here (provided you are using Windows XP), https://support.ati.com/ics/support/default.asp?deptID=894&task=knowledge&folderID=27, the release notes say that the driver is compatible with the Radeon 7X00 series. I think that ATi is now using a unified driver much like nVidia is doing.
[update:] Check here for the Windows ME drivers, https://support.ati.com/ics/support/default.asp?deptID=894&task=knowledge&folderID=296 though I can make no promises that they will work any better than the other ones.

Go to the Ati web site and put in your video card model and download your drivers.

Be sure to disable the "hot-key poller" app in any ATI download. It is utilized by various malware applications and it is there for updates, which can be done manually.

go to download.com or google it or either go to the ATI radeon main site.
