I am luckily managing to keep my keyboard in by a miracle, but I need to put my printer, camera and more attached at the same time. Can I buy a part to change in just this area. Its a dull grey Dell pentium base, a little heavy.Or can I buy an extension piece that I can put in a few usb wires from the back

you can buy a 4 port usb hub that can connect to one of the back usb ports and provide more ports, you can purchase them powered or unpowered, if you purchase the unpowered hub's then you will be limited to the 500ma current that is availible from the port, mouse requires about 100ma keaboard requires about 100ma. they usually cost between $10-$50 USD depending on manufacturer, style, and where you purchase it. Not sure...I have a computer store nearby that has lots of used parts and i know that they probably would have some internal usb ports you can use to change the ones on yours but thats here....

You can either find a store near you that has used parts or order one from your pc maker..

It's called a hub. I think you can get them for pretty cheap, just go into an electronics store and ask for a USB hub.
