Mouse moves slowly while walking (In my games)?

For some odd reason lately (The past few months) whenever I play a PC game my mouse moves much slower if I'm pressing buttons on the keyboard. So like in an FPS game if I am standing still and move the mouse to look around it's fine, but if I start walking forward or back or side to side or pressing any other buttons (like crouch, sprint, etc) my look speed is MUCH slower. The first time this ever happened, on Chronicles of Riddick, I figured maybe it was just part of the game (Like if you were moving you couldn't turn as fast) but it does it in all my games. It does it outside of games too but I rarely have to use my keyboard and mouse at the same time so it doesn't bother me. I'm 99% sure this is a software problem and not a hardware problem, as it works fine when I use my mouse and keyboard to play UT3 on my PS3. Any suggestions? If it helps my keyboard is Logitech and my mouse is Saitek (I know it's not the best mouse but it was a gift)

Hi there,

There is no problem with your hardware but what you need is to check your graphic card and installed appropriate graphics drivers. This type of problem once occurred to me and I update my pc's graphics drivers and solved it.

DO's :

-> Read minimum requirement of your game

(i.e. minimum processor capacity, expected space in hard drive and RAM, graphic card capacity)

-> Check your graphic card brand

-> update graphic driver (Go on Geforce website for more help)

Hope this will solve your problem. I know how annoying this problem is for gamers! :)

I even have the optical mouse and that i've got loads of video games I put in from vast FISH at $20 a pop. My cursor strikes sluggish with one game yet is wonderful on each of the others. So, are you particular it is your cursor or maybe the video games. have you ever tried yet another mouse just to purpose it? possibly borrow a mouse from a buddy? examine your mouse pad and be sure it relatively is no longer too worn or clean it. Mine is made out of foam rubber and to bathe it I in basic terms beat it a pair of situations against something to eliminate dirt.

try cleaning your mouse out, take the ball out and just run your finger around in there or a paper towel and put the ball back in, that should help.
