Hey guys, I run Windows 7 on a 64-bit operating system. Not too long ago my computer began to install Windows updates and I thought nothing of it. A little window would pop up prompting me to decide when the computer would restart and the update would run.

This has happened 4 times now and it continues to have this pop-up and after the update is supposedly done configuring my computer I still get the same pop-up, update, and time sucked out of my day.

Does anybody have a solution to this?

The best way to solve the problem is to run windows update once it's complete on the left pane click windows update history to find out which update is keep on installing once found out run windows update again not the high priority updates but all once done find the updates that keep on installing click the plus sign to open them up check do not install this update windows will rerun the updates that at error to install it properly, a lot of updates sometime comes up in error is why they keep on reinstalling them selves

This happens to a lot of people.Just go to windows update and click on the update to show what it is and then right click on the update and choose hide update. This should solve the problem.
