I just purchased this new PC and the hard drive connects with a single blue cable. I was planning on using my old hard drive as a slave drive, but since they connect different i need to purchase a new HDD. So anyone out there know the specs on this Drive?

According to the Dell web site, it uses SATA drives. If you have an IDE connector in there, you should able to connect it to that. If it's already connected, you'll need to get an IDE cable that supports two drives and then make sure both drives have their jumpers properly configured. If you aren't interested in all of that, just buy a USB hard drive enclosure and put your old drive into that.

That is a Laptop, right? If it is, they don't make internal hard drives that big for laptops. I think 200 gigs is the biggest and they are 2.5" at 5400rpm. You can get an external hard drive that big and that is universal, just make sure it is USB 2.0 or Firewire (firewire is faster).
