Yesterday, I used my USB just fine, but I accidentally bumped it against my chair's arm, which was moving. Two hours later, I plugged it on my computer, and the light didn't turn on. I assumed it was dead, but then I opened it to clean the mother board a little bit, and then plugged it back on, and it still didn't show up. But I pushed it a little to the back, and then the light showed up and the data was on. I copied some of it, but most of it is still on. I thought I might have loosened a few circuits. The copying was going fine for a few minutes, but then when I moved it a little, the light went away, and so I pushed it a little more. It was lighting but the error message "USB malfunctioned, not recognized" came up. I thought maybe touching it with my hands might have disrupted more circuits, but I am not sure. Any suggestions?
Also, now that I keep doing it, the same error message comes. I wonder if my device is totally malfunctioned and would like to know if there is ANY way to recover the data from the motherboard thing. What should I do or who should i show it to to maybe recover the data? Who should I show who can fix the circuits if damaged?
The data is really important to me. I would do anything to recover it.
