my wow addons wont work could any one help?!?!?!?

I was just wondering if any one knew how to fix a problem I have with my addons... When the new patch came out I deleted all of my old addons and replaced them with the new ones ( updated them ). Well any ways when I logged on and checked the addons it says that there all out of date even tho I just installed new ones. I tried restarting wow and reinstalling the addons. Even when I deleted the addons and played without them it still says on the list that there still there and out of date :(

That is the EXACT problem I had last week. LOL! What I was doing wrong was trying to install the addons before the patch was done downloading. To my surprise, you can't install addons before a patch is done, or it won't take it. Make sure your patch is completely done, if the addons are out of date it shouldn't hurt anything. Mine are out of date too. When you log on click the mini map to enlarge it and click quest helper, make sure it's turned on. I accidentally turned mine off once by accidentally clicking on it, and then I wondered why my quest helper wasn't working. I'm not sure what you have, but I got mine from curse.com and I love it!! They same thing happened to me ... my friend suggested that I try using wowmatrix instead to update my addons... I tried it ... it worked for me .. maybe itll work for you!. It update your addons with a click of the buttons and puts them in the correct folder (so you dont have to). It even include a searchable list of other addons you can Download.

Its pretty simple really. Whenever a new patch comes out, you generally have to do this. in the top right corner of your addon screen theres a box that says "load out of date add-ons" check that and your good to go :]

You did everything right, other than 1 thing, when you log on and you are on your character screen, click "Addon" at the bottom left/right. Then click the little boxes next to the addon to enable them, then log in.
