It's said that USB hubs can extend a USB network to a maximum of 127 ports. My question is that when a number of USB devices connected to USB hub, can they keep their speed? I know, USB protocol has a certain speed limit and USB is serial protocol so that data should be sent in serial. So, devices must wait their turn? Doesn't it?

Well if you know what a HUB is then it is easy to answer. It is very similar to the HUB used in Networking (in order to connect computers together). HUBs are not very smart devices because they reproduces the same signal through all the nodes they are connected. The concern about limited speed is negligible if you are not using so many USB devices which are functional at the same time.

Imagine if you have a keyboard and mouse attached to USB hub then it will raise minimum concern. It is because you are not going to type all the time on keyboard or using mouse. However, if you are using an external TV card (USB) attached to that USB and also copying data to some external USB harddisk then it will show some visible slow speed. Hope it helps!

outstanding for unmarried GPU set up. it ought to bottleneck the HD 3870 X2. P35 in person-friendly words helps PCIe a million.a million. The X-38 chipset helps PCIe 2.0 which has double the bandwidth of PCIe a million.a million. twin GPU or multi-card set up earnings maximum from the better bandwidth of PCIe 2.0.

You are right! They loose some speed. Actually you have a better information! If you wants to know more, then use it practically...

Thank You,
