Your computer still needs the drivers to even know what bluetooth is. That's why it's asking you for a cd.

flow lower back to gadget supervisor and uninstall thecontinual. Reboot computer. could set up drivers. If it nonetheless isn't working, it probable needs to get replaced. DVD and CD use distinctive lasers. you are able to relatively be wore out yet not the different.

Even though your device is plug and play, your computer will need drivers for it in order to function properly. First, I would go to the website of the device manufacturer and try to obtain and install drivers from there. If you are unable to find the drivers there, try googling the device name and drivers. If the above fails, the easiest way to transfer photos from a phone to a computer is via data cable rather than bluetooth. A data cable usually comes in the package with your phone, but it some cases it may be an accessory that has to be purchased separately. The cable plugs into your phone and the other end goes into the USB port on your computer. As soon as they are connected you will see a popup on your computer from file/photo transfer wizard and all you need to do is click "get pictures" and they will be transfered to a folder of your choice. Hope this helps :)

Check in your device manager to see if any program associated with your PnP device has loaded, if so check its properties and then update the driver files, it will ask for the place they are search and they may even be on the device itself if they are then your onto a winner if not use the web to try and locate a driver file for that device.

try getting the drivers for it, search the name and product model and driver and you should get the bluetooth device working. although if your running vista you should be able to go through the control panel and fix the blue tooth from there.

A plug and play device is something Windows coded to make compatible no matter what brand (mouse, keyboard etc). Bluetooth is only a relatively new development and is not included in the plug and play code.

You need a cd that should have come with whatever device you have. Install that, plug in the device, then it should work.

Try to look for the bluetooth drive installation online...download it then activate it ( make sure it is the same model of the USB device you got)
