My mouse is going crazy & flying all over the screen..?

It never happened before. Oh, & I use a Logitech mouse that isn't attached to anything and it uses batteries.. so you can turn it on and off. Even if I turn my mouse off, the cursor flies all over the screen. It started yesterday.. how do I stop this madness? Please help. :D

1.check virus with some software

2.check for your mouse is time to change or not. change another one if no problem that time to change or claim

I was having the same problem and looked at these answers. After that, I looked in the hole where the optical light is and there was a lint ball and some hair in there. I vacuumed it out! Seems to work fine now.

Try checking for viruses. Boot to safe mode by pressing f8 during boot up and see if it still happens. If not, this is a virus for sure.

I assume it is a wireless. Do not use the mouse on a light colored or multi colored surface. (such as an artificial light wood grain) This worked for me. Also, do not use "Duracell" batteries.
