The Graphics card is a PNY Verto GeForce 9600GT (512MB 256-bit GDDR3, PCI Express 2.0 x16, HDCP Ready SLI Supported)

My motherboard is a Biostar G31D-M7 Core 2 Duo/ Intel G31/ DDR2-800/ A&V&L/ MATX

It uses DDR2 memory, but the card uses GDDR3. So I don't know if I can use them together. (Specs below)

Video card Ram (VRAM) does not need matching system RAM. Graphics cards can use either DDR/2/3 RAM with no problems, so no need to worry (DDR2 RAM is usually on cheaper graphics cards when involving newer models, thus slower).

A quick google produces your motherboard specs, which would of solved your question. Yes it does list as having a slot (Bright yellow btw), you should be fine, unless your manufacturer elected to remove it. Google 'PCI-Express slot' in google images perhaps, to find one circled so you know what it looks like, but you can't really miss it as there's only one and it's the longest slot in the entire motherboard, always placed at the top (near the middle/under the CPU) of the PCI slots.

as long as the motherboard has a PCI express X16 slot the card will run fine

the fact that the card runs DDR3 and the mainboard uses DDR2 doesnt matter.

As long as you have a PCI-express slot on your board (which you have) then it should run fine.
