You can try to recover your files and folders from deleted partition using Easy Drive Data Recovery software:

http://www.munsoft.com/EasyDriveDataRecovery/

It uses unique modern algorithms to recover files that other software either recovers incorrectly or is unable to detect.

SystemRescueCd

SystemRescueCd is a Linux system on a bootable CD-ROM for repairing your system and recovering your data after a crash. It aims to provide an easy way to carry out admin tasks on your computer, such as creating and editing the partitions of the hard disk. It contains a lot of system utilities (parted, partimage, fstools, ...) and basic tools (editors, midnight commander, network tools). It is very easy to use: just boot the CDROM. The kernel supports most of the important file systems (ext2/ext3, reiserfs, reiser4, xfs, jfs, vfat, ntfs, iso9660), as well as network filesystems (samba and nfs).

Here is the online English version of the SystemRescueCD manual.

This Quick start Guide gives you all the important things you need to know to use SystemRescueCd. This is what you need if it is the first time you use this livecd. If you want more information please read the Online Manual.

you can try glary utilities.

most of the free progs for this i've tried have limitations on file size, about 64KB. glary doesn't, i don't think, but i haven't tried it for partition recovery yet as i haven't had this issue.

whewn i used it for file recovery, it detects deleted bits and tells you the condition of the file and the prognosis of recovery.
