I have been wanting to make my own computer for a long time (build my own computer) and I can't decide what's better to get GeForce 8200 or nForce graphics card?
First of all, I want to get the new Fallout3 game but they never post the full requirements.
So can anyone tell me if I should get one or the other or both for my computer?

Seriously I would bin the idea of both. nForce is an onboard chipset (it'll probably come with your motherboard but that is irrelevant) & really is cr*p when it comes to gaming. The 8200 is absolutely no better! You will probably need a 9600GT or above to play that game decently the 8200 will not play it at all!

I would get the GeForce, but the 8200 might be a little underpowered for Fallout 3. A better bet would be the 9800, which can be purchased for about 100 bucks here:

GeForce is the name of nvidia's "G"raphic cards

nForce is the name of their motherboard chipsets

So you'd want to get something like a GeForce 8300, or 9800GT or something in there... but it will be a GeForce :-) 9800GT is around the $130 area or less.

As for chipset... stick with Intel on your motherboard.

nForce is a motherboard chipset. GeForce is a video card. They're two different things.

It really depends on which nforce motherboard video chipset and geforce card you were comparing.

nForce is a motherboard chipset only, isn't it?

GeForce cards are PCI-e cards that generally work to a higher quality.

GeForce is the name of the graphics cards.

nForce is a mobo chipset.

Unfortunatley, you'll need one of both.
