My DVD multi recorder suddenly dont write files to my blank DVD when i am using NERO. it says, "cannot perform end of disk-at-once" and sometimes is stops when it is in the state of "writing short lead..." and tells "invalid block address." but when i tried to record my songs to a dvd using media player, it is successful. this is the ERROR LOG of nero:

Upgrade your version of NERO or just get a free CD burner software like IMGBURN.

All that I can tell you is based on nero 6. What is in the latest version not sure.

In nero 6 you had to install incd into nero to write to re-writable disks. The basic nero program could not erase what is already on the re-write disk. The basic nero 6 could only burn ordinary dvds, so the incd program complemented it to burn rewrites.

I see you can download nero 9 from filehippo.com.

also if you been pluggin in other cd roms the recording tab may unset.

open my computer >right click the dvd rom >properties >recording tab >ensure it is enabled.

You also have to be careful with multiple burning apps installed, they create gremlins that can be a nightmare to sort out. Make sure you only have one installed (windows media player don't count). Clean your drive and dust it out, hope this helps.
